Signature favourites and new additions every year!

Every September, the Teulon and District Agricultural Society, holds the town's iconic autumn celebration, Pumpkinfest! The day starts with our ever-popular and delicious pancake breakfast, followed by a jam-packed day of children's activities, entertainment, a vendor market, food, live music, a petting zoo, a dog show and more!

Pumpkinfest is the pride of our quaint little Manitoba town, whose agricultural fair is home to one of the most competitive LARGEST PUMPKIN competitions in the Interlake. Best carved and most perfect pumpkins compete alongside root vegetable creations, pies, canning, arrangements and photography.

The Flying Lion Dance Troup

The Flying Lion Dance Troupe was established by six members in November 2006, their mission being to promote traditional and modern Chinese Lion & Dragon Dance styles to future generations, contribute to the enrichment of multiculturalism in Manitoba and provide an opportunity for youth to be involved in the preservation of their culture. The Chinese Lion Dance is a traditional dance in which two performers mimic a lion’s movements. The Troupe trains on a Lion Dance focused curriculum, which results in their ability to perform traditional floor routines, shows with props and modern competition style performances on poles ranging from three to nine and a half feet.

Leaf Rapids

Leaf Rapids is a small isolated town in Northern Manitoba where Aurora Borealis graffitis the winter skies. It is also the borrowed moniker of this Winnipeg band featuring sweet and smoky harmonies, luscious guitar licks, the eerie sound of the theremin, and a bassline that walks the talk.

Keri Latimer, Devin Latimer, Joanna Miller and Chris Dunn are realists and dreamers. They are chemistry professors, dry-wallers, child rearers, and custodians of the night that croon about love as it applies to vultures, barbershop stabbings, satellites and velvet paintings to name a few.
